KARACHI: Notice was not issued to the exporter in view of order of no coercive action, Customs lawyer Khalid Mehmood Rajpar told to a custom Appellate bench of High Court of Sindh.
The bench was hearing a petition filed by Multiple Sports Industries Sialkot against Collector of Custom (Export).
The counsel submitted that if ban is lifted, a notice will be issued to the petitioner to reply to questions as raised in the notice. Aneel Zia advocate, counsel for petitioner said that he will not press this petition if direction is issued to the department that they would act in accordance with law after issuance of notice and decide the matter soon.
The bench disposed of the petition directing the department to decide the matter expeditiously affording proper hearing to the petitioner.
The controversy per to ains to recovery of 7377 mobile phones and three bale’s of used cloth from export consignment of the petitioner company.
