Federal government has announced three holidays in Islamabad for the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Foreign Ministers Conference to be held in Pakistan from March 22 to 24, 2022.

Imran Khan has been able to fend off all the opposition and conspiracies and would host the OIC conference in Islamabad. The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Muhammad Bin Salman is also scheduled to participate in the OIC Conference along with other leaders of Muslim countries. According to sources, the single point agenda which Imran Khan would press at the OIC summit is that countries should not be part of a bloc. Muslim countries should not rely completely on one world power instead relationship should be maintained with all countries.

Imran Khan has three plans. First, the national assembly session would be convened on March 22, 2022, which would be the last day, as the assembly session has to be convened within 14 days after the submission of No Confidence Motion. Arguments on the Motion would be held on March 24, 25, 26, 2022. Voting on the No confidence Motion will be held on March 26, 2022.

All parliamentarians of PTI will not attend the session, and only one parliamentarian of PTI will attend the session so that no PTI parliamentarian could vote.

Moreover, according to rules elected parliamentarians on the ticket of a political party cannot vote against the will of the party leadership. So, if any PTI parliamentarian attempts to vote against Imran Khan will be reported to the Election Commission. In this case, such parliamentarian will lose its membership and the result of voting in No confidence Motion will be dependent on the decision of Election Commission.

In the last 10 days, PML-N has been saying that they didn’t need the allies such as PML-Q and MQM, but due to the tactics of Imran Khan, the opposition PML-N and PPP are against trying to lure the allies such as PML-Q and MQM.

American diplomats have been playing a very active role pertaining to the No Confidence Motion and have been meeting politicians from government and opposition as well as judiciary.
