KARACHI: An appellate bench of High Court of Sindh ordered issuance of notices for March 8 to Chairman F.B.R, Commissioner, Inland Revenue, Deputy Commissioner Inland Revenue (Large Taxpayer Office), Assistant Director (Enforcement) Unit VIII, Large Taxpayer Office Karachi while hearing a petition filed by TCS Logistics.
Earlier a counsel from law firm Franklin Law Associates submitted that a petition 1194/2022 has been been filed on an identical issue. He said that entertaining this petition, the bench has issued notices to the respondents besides passing an order of restraint. He sought same order in his petition.
The bench allowed the request ordering issuance of notice to the respondents and restraining them from taking any coercive action against the petitioner. The bench also ordered tagging this petition with earlier one referred to by the petitioner’s counsel.
