KARACHI: A Special Custom Reference Application (SCRA) No 796 0f 2019 filed by Collector of Customs was dismissed while a connected Constitutional Petition 5626/2020 filed by Messers SG Enterprises was disposed of by a customs appellate bench of High Court of Sindh.
Earlier the bench heard counsel representing Franklin Law Associates representing the importer firm. The bench was informed that appellant department has challenged Order in Appeal passed by the Collector Appeals and the controversy pertains to determination of classification under HS Code 8528.7213 or in terms of Public Notice.
The bench upheld the order of the SCTA which also held the Order in Appeal and dismissed the SCRA.
