PESHAWAR: Chief Collector Customs Asif Jah on Wednesday inaugurated the new Dry Port Azakhail. Asif Jah inspected the Dry Port and started the Customs clearance.
Collector Customs Appraisement Muhammad Saleem and Collector Preventive Kamran Ahmed, Additional Collector Adnan Iqbal Sawati, Khayal Mohammad, Assistant Collector Dry Port Jaweria Shahid and other officers were present on the occasion.
Azakhail Dry Port is established on the demand of KPK’s trader community by Pakistan Railways at Pir Pai, Azakhail, Naushehra. Prime Minister Imran Khan had formally inaugurated the dry port on January 10, 2020, however the port started operations on January 13, 2020.
