QUETTA: Customs Quetta in a joint operation with FC Baluchistan recovered large quantity of smuggled goods worth Rs100 million.

The seized goods include non custom paid vehicles, betel nut, cosmetics, cloth, tyres and other goods.

Information was passed through Collector Quetta regarding transportation of smuggled goods to various city in the country. Subsequently, Additional Collector Yasir Kalwar and Deputy collector Akbar Jan alerted all the check posts.

Later, with the assistance of FC Baluchistan, Customs staff recovered large quantity of vehicles and other smuggled gods at Lakpas.

Lakpas checkpost is a very sensitive and busy post where very competent and reputable officials are posted at Lakpas such as Inspectors Gulsher Zehri, Jamil Kakar and Muhammad Hashim.

Chief Collector Enforcement Gul Rehman has appreciated the staff on this operation.
