FBR exempts sales tax on import of 61 medical items

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced sales tax exemption on import of 61 medical equipments.

Following goods are exempted from whole of sales tax at import stage:

1. Real-time PCR system (standard 96-well plate and 0.2ml tubes format, 5 channel)

This notification shall take effect from the June 20, 2020 and shall remain effective for a period of three months.
