FAISALABAD: Anti-smuggling Organization (ASO) Faisalabad has seized large quantity of smuggled cumin seed and Mono Sodium Glutamate (Chinese Salt) worth Rs15 million.
Acting on information, the Staff of Anti-Smuggling Organization, Faisalabad intercepted a 10-Wheeler truck, which was loaded with foreign origin Cumin Seed and Mono Sodium Glutamate (Chinese Salt).
The driver failed to produce relevant documents of the loaded consignment. The vehicle was detained and taken into possession for further investigation. Upon detailed examination, 21 tons of Cumin Seed and 3,750-KGs of Mono Sodium Glutamate was recovered and seized. Further proceeding and investigation is under way.
