KARACHI: The Finance Committee of National Assembly visited Customs House Karachi and received briefings from senior officers on Customs affairs. A sub-committee on Customs was also formed.
Member Customs Agha Jawwad, Chief Collector Enforcement Wasif Memon, Collectors including Wajid Ali, Mumtaz Khoso, Saifuddin Junejo, Sakuif Saeed, Yaqoob Mako, and other senior officers were present in the occasion.
The Committee was briefed about the import trend, Customs assessment, WeBOC and revenue collection.
The Finance Committee also visited South Asia Ports Terminal (SAPT) where Collector Nadeem Memon and Additional Collector Afzal Watto briefed the parliamentarians.
