KARACHI: Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) of MCC Preventive Karachi made several seizures of goods worth Rs1.23 billion in the second quarter of the fiscal year ended December 31, 2019 surpassing the target of Rs1.17 billion by 4.0 percent.
This is the first time that ASO of MCC Preventive Karachi has achieved the assigned target in this fiscal year. This is in addition to seizures of Narcotics worth Rs2.912 billion.
Collector Preventive Karachi Saquib Saeed has advised the staff to keep strict vigilance on the movement of smuggled goods.
Additional Collector Haroon Mailk, Deputy Collector Akbar Jan, Superintendent Jamal Zia, IPS Iftikhar Hasan and his team have made significant efforts in the campaign against smuggling.
