KARACHI: Special Judge Customs, Taxation and Anti-smuggling Mrs Rashida Asad on Thursday convicted and sentenced an accused Zeeshan Iqbal in an income tax case.
Announcing the verdict reserved earlier, the accused was sentenced to imprisonment for 30 day. A fine of rupees 200,000 was also imposed upon him for concealing the net taxable income. In case of default in payment of fine, he will under go imprisonment for six months more.
