KARACHI: A customs appellate bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi and Justice Mahmood A Khan ordered issuance of pre-admission notices for Nov 20 to respondent custom officials in a petition filed Megaplus and others importers of lap top and desk top computers..

The petitioners moved the court  against reassessment of their assessed GD’s by Post Clearance Audit (PCA), Pakistan Customs. They maintained that their consignments have been assessed under section 80 of the Customs Act 1969 but later PCA interfered.

Imran Iqbal and Rayan Zia advocates of law firm Expert Law submitted that the issue has been decided by this bench in petition filed by Worldwide relied on an order passed  by this bench in petition filed by Messrs Bilal Brother Industries (CP-D 7129 of 2019).
