ESTONIA: Tallink Fast Food, a wholly-owned subsidiary of AS Tallink Grupp, has registered this week a wholly-owned subsidiary in Lithuania – UAB Tallink Fast Food Lithuania – which is the group’s first subsidiary in Lithuania, and a wholly-owned subsidiary in Latvia – SIA Tallink Fast Food Latvia.
The purpose of founding the subsidiaries is operation of Burger King restaurants in Lithuania and Latvia.
Tallink Grupp has announced that the Burger King sandwich everyone has been waiting for with a plant based alternative for meat patty – the Rebel Whopper – has landed in the Burger King floating restaurants onboard Tallink Grupp’s shuttle vessels operating on the Estonia-Finland route.
With 25 countries simultaneously launching the Rebel Whopper in over 2,500 restaurants, this will be one of the largest Burger King launches in the brand’s history and Burger King will become the biggest restaurant chain offering a plant-based patty across Europe.
