Messe Frankfurt sets a new record of around €718 million sales in 2019

FRANKFURT: Messe Frankfurt, the largest player in the German trade fair industry is setting a new record of around €718 million sales in 2019, newsnreleases.com reported.

Messe Frankfurt has 30 subsidiaries and 56 sales partners in 190 countries. Pakistan is one of the largest sales partners of Messe Frankfurt and helps organize over 50 government pavilions and has over 700 manufacturers and 8000 visitors attending the global shows. The most relevant shows are Heimtextil, Texworld/Apparel Sourcing Paris, Ambiente, Beautyworld Middle East and Automechanika Dubai.

Messe Frankfurt sales have increased by more than seven percent year by year, according to the financial report of 2018. Consolidated annual net income for 2018 was more than €50 million, around 25 percent up in 2017, while EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization) was at a record level of approximately €132 million.

With a total of 507 events worldwide in the financial year 2018, more events were held under the Messe Frankfurt umbrella than ever before. Almost five million people came together at these interaction formats. And it’s currently placing no fewer than 17 new events in its key regions for 2019/2020.” Prime examples of this are the Clean Show in the USA in 2019, and the Interior Lifestyle Middle East in Dubai and Formnext South China in Shenzhen in 2020.

More and more events are being held at the company base in Frankfurt. In this way, Frankfurt and its exhibition grounds are raising their profile among international & medical congresses as an international congress venue. Over 4.5 million visitors and over 100,000 exhibitors put their trust in the efficiency of our international network and in the quality of our events.

Over the past 20-plus years, Messe Frankfurt has invested almost one billion Euros of its own resources in modernizing its exhibition grounds. Hall 6 is currently being revitalized. From 2020 onwards, the Messe Frankfurt exhibition grounds will be operated using exclusively green power. All new and renovated buildings will also have an efficient, energy-optimized design.
