KARACHI: Anti-smuggling Organization (ASO) of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Karachi seized smuggled goods and vehicles worth Rs83.2 million during July 2019.
Director I&I Irfan Jawaid has advised his team to keep an strict check on the movement of smuggled goods.
Acting on the directives, Superintendent ASO Irshad Shah has been very efficient against smuggling.
The seized goods include whiskey and vodka, diesel oil, betel nut, gutka and several non-duty paid luxury vehicles.
The FBR is pursuing a rigorous anti-smuggling campaign on the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
