KARACHI: The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) management has increased the salaries of out sourced employees working through contractor, a spokesman said on Wednesday.
PIA Spokesman said that to celebrate the Eid ul Fitr the required funds have been released to the contractor for distribution of salaries. CEO PIA Air Marshal Arshad Malik has instructed to ensure payment of salaries and especially to the outsourced employees before the Eid.
PIA’s employees associations have appreciated the good gesture of management for releasing salaries of all employees before Eid and especially raising the salaries of outsourced workers who are the lowest paid ones, PIA spokesman concluded.
