KARACHI: Pakistan’s trade deficit during 10 Months of fiscal year 2019 (July-April 2018-19) dropped 13% to US$ 26.3 billion.
Trade Deficit during same period last year was at US$ 30.1 billion.
Exports continued to remained unchanged during 10 months of fiscal year 2019 at US$ 19.2 billion while imports fell by 8% to US$ 45.5 billion.
The decline in trade deficit is due to shrinking imports as most of the legitimate imports have switched to smuggling.[the_ad id=”31605″]
