Karachi: A division bench of Sindh High court comprising Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar and Justice Agha Faisal on Friday allowed release of 70 vans.
The bench was hearing a petition filed by Ikram Ullah and others against east, west model custom collectorate. The customs denied clearance assesing the vehicles are “cars”.
The petitioners represented by Franklin law associates produced a verification letter from Quetta to establish that the vehicles are “vans” not “cars”. The bench allowing the petitions also ordered issuance of delay detention certificate in favour of petitioners.[the_ad id=”32940″]
