KARACHI: Habib Metropolitan Bank (HMB) has announced a net profit of Rs6.42 billion for the year ended December 31, 2018, which is 9.5 percent higher than the profit of Rs5.86 billion in the previous year.
The earnings per share (EPS) clocked in at Rs5.9 for 2018 as against EPS of Rs5.41 in 2017. Habib Metropolitan Bank (HMB) also declared a final cash dividend of Rs2.0/share along with corporate announcement.
Net interest income of the bank for 2018 stood at Rs16.65 billion, up 16.8 percent, compared with interest income of Rs14.25 billion in 2017.
Non-interest income for the year under review stood at Rs6.09 billion, up 3.9 percent, as against income of Rs5.86 billion in the previous year.
