KARACHI: The Democrats Panel made a clean sweep on Saturday in the annual elections of the Karachi Press Club for the year 2019.
According to results, Democrats Panel’s candidate for the position of President Imtiaz Khan Faran secured 671 votes and won the election, while his rival candidate from Progressive Panel Ahmed Khan Malik received 530 votes.
While Democrats Panel’s candidate for the position of General Secretary, Arman Sabir got 925 votes and Vice President’s candidate from the same panel Saeed Sarbazi received 884 votes.
Similarly, Raja Kamran won the election for the seat of Treasurer and Mohammed Hanif as Joint Secretary.
All seven candidates of the Democrats Panel for the governing body also won.
