KARACHI: A Customs Appellate bench of High Court of Sindh comprising Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi and Justice Mrs Ashraf Jahan dismissed an application by an Intervener in a SCRA filed by Collector Customs, Hyderabad against Liaquat Ali, owner of a Toyota Hiace van.
Yaqoob Shah filed the application claiming to be the owner of the vehicle in dispute. The application was opposed by Ms Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate, counsel for Liaquat Ali.
The bench inquired that whether the inteverner was party to the proceedings in initial stage or at adjudication level.
As the answer was in negative, the bench dismissed the application.
