KARACHI: Link judge Tariq Khosa for Special Customs Court, Karachi on Wednesday admitted two accused to bail against solvent surety of rupees 300,000 each.
According to details Pakistan Customs Preventive, Sukkur intercepted a bus on a tip off and recovered 220 packets of Indian origin “Katha” valued at rupees 1Crore 65 lac contained in crates.
The driver of the bus Muhammad Owais and conductor Muhammad Akram were taken into custody and booked in FIR 2 of 2018.
The bench today after hearing arguments of Ms Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate, granted bail to the applicants while deferring trial indefinitely.
