KARACHI: A division bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi and Justice Agha Faisal restrained Chief Commissioner, Inland Revenue from recovery of rupees 50,903,958 (Salex Tax) and rupees 23,442,372 (Income Tax)from Sindh Technical Education and Vocation Training Authority (STEVTA) in two identical petitions.
The bench heard initial arguments submitted by Ms Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate, counsel for petitioner. The bench later ordered issuance of notices to the respondents for July 23.
