KARACHI: A customs appellate bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) on Wednesday deferred further proceedings in a number of identical petitions filed by Sachal Construction Company, Sachal Engineering and Zarghoon Construction Company Private Limited till Feb 07.
Earlier a Deputy Collector, Appraisement East, Pakistan Customs appearing on court notice offered post inspection of the imported Asphalt paver machines to decide the controversy. Ms Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate, counsel for importers/ petitioner companies agreed to the proposal.
The bench after mutual agreement of the parties asked the customs officer to act accordingly after which issue of interim relief to the petitioner would be considered.
