KARACHI: In view of impressive performance of MCC Appraisement (East) Karachi, which was also acknowledged by Customs Revenue Receipt Audit (CRA), all 12 deputy/assistant collectors and four Assessment Officers of the Collectorate were awarded appreciation certificates by the Collector Ashhad Jawad.
It is learnt that during Departmental Accounts Committee (DAC) meeting, out of 162 PDPs pertaining to MCC East, more than 96 PDPs (almost 60 percent) were recommended for Settlement by DAC. In addition, many PDPs were recommended for Settlement subject to verification, thus taking total PDP-Settlement figure to more than 105.
Both, Collector shhad Jawwad and Additional Collector (Audit) Sheeraz Ahmed appreciated the collective effort and team spirit demonstrated by the Collectorate.
A small ceremony was held on January 20, 2018 at MCC East Karachi for the distribution of Appreciation Certificates in which performance of officers and their staff was acknowledged and they were advised to continue with the same spirit of hard work and commitment which they displayed during the said assignment.
Awarded officers also expressed their deep gratitude on the able and benign leader ship of their Collector and Additional Collector; and expressed that they feel more compelled and motivated to work for the Collectorate on this acknowledgment of their hard work.
