KARACHI: An appellate bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) on Friday deferred hearing in a Salex Tax case till Jan 24.
Earlier when the petition filed by Probox Private Limited was taken up for hearing, counsel for Sales Tax department requested for grant of time to prepare the case. The counsel also filed authorization to represent the petitioner.
The counsel for petitioner company opposed the adjournment and said why dispute was not settled at department level.
The petition pertains to the suspension of Sales tax Registration on pretext that petitioner company purchased goods from black listed companies.
