KARACHI: The Establishment Division has nominated 28 BS-20 officers for national security and war course (NS&WC) 2017-18 at National Defence University Islamabad scheduled from August 07, 2017 to January 16, 2018.
National Defence University (NDU) has selected BS-20 officers belonging to various occupational groups, services, ex-cadres for the course.
Officers belonging to Pakistan Administrative Services (PAS) include Aftab Akbar Durrani, Joint Secretary, Gilgit-Baltistan Council Sectt. Islamabad; Dr. M. Fakhar-e-Alam Irfan, Commissioner, Peshawar, KPK; Usman Akhtar Bajwa, D.G, Immigration & Passports, Islamabad and Jawad Paul, Joint Secretary, Prime Minister’s Office, Islamabad.
Officer of Police of Pakistan (PSP) include Ahmed Mukarram, Director (Admn) FIA (HQ) Islamabad; Shaikh Muhammad Umar, DG NACTA, Islamabad; Sajjad Afzal Afridi, Chief National Transport Research Centre (NTRC), Communication, Islamabad and Akhtar Hayat, RPO, Malakand, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Peshawar.
Officers of Secretariat Group include Dr. Mir Aijaz Hussain Talpur, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Textile Industries, Islamabad; Tariq Rashid, Secretary Irrigation Department, Govt. of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar and Ms. Samar Ihsan; Joint Secretary, Commerce Division, Islamabad and Ms. Humaira Zia Mufti, DG, BISP, Islamabad.
Officers of Foreign Service of Pakistan (FSP) include Khayyam Akbar, Director General, MOFA, Islamabad; Najeeb Durrani, Director General, MOFA, Islamabad; Javed Jalil Khattak, Director General, MOFA, Islamabad and Ms. Amna Baloch, Consul General, PARED, Chengdu.
Officers of Pakistan Audit & Accounts Service (PA&AS) include Syed Turab Hyder, Awaiting Posting, Office of the Auditor General of Pakistan, Islamabad and Imran Anium Khan, Joint Secretary, Cabinet Division, Islamabad.
Syed Chulam Abbas Kazmi, CIR, RTO, Islamabad of Inland Revenue Services (IRS) and Qurban Ali Khan, Collector, MCC, Peshawar; Dr. Zulfiqar All Ch. Collector, MCC, Faisalabad and Muhammad Yagoob Mako, Collector, MCC (Exports), Karachi of Pakistan Custom Service (PCS) will also join the course.
Ms. Atifa Riffat, Joint Secretary M/o Overseas Pakistanis and HRD of Postal Group; Muhammad Naeem Jan Khan, DML&C Peshawar of Ministry of Defence (ML&C Group) and Nisar Ahmed Menmon, Divisional Superintendent, Pakistan Railways, Karachi of Railways (Commercial & Transportation Group) will also join the course.
