KARACHI: A division bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Irfan Saadat Khan and Justice Muhammad Humayon Khan on Wednesday allowed provisional release of an imported consignment of “Chicken Flavor”.
The bench earlier heard Ghulamullah Shaikh advocate who maintained that the imported consignment was of B grade but an invoice of grade A was found from the consignment by the custom officials. He said that though the seller admitted his mistake and rectified the same by sending a new invoice as per grading of the consignment but Custom authorities refuses to accept the second one and have held the consignment.
The bench after hearing the counsel for petitioner Al Rehman Enterprises allowed release of the consignment after deposition of differential amount as security with the Nazir of the court who was ordered to issue a certificate once the differential amount is secured.
