KARACHI: An appellate bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Munib Akhtar and Justice Muhammad Humayun Khan on Tuesday entrusted the custody of five oil tankers to the Nazir of the court till decision in a constitution petition and three Special Custom Reference Appeals.

The bench earlier heard Ms Dil Khurram Shaheen Advocate appearing for the petitioner Abdul Wahid Shah and other in SCRA 454, 455 and 456 of 2016. The counsel arguing CP 3981 of 2016 submitted that the Sukkur Customs has seized the oil tankers and despite orders of the tribunal, the vehicles are not being released.

Arguing the SCRA she said Hyderabad Customs is detaining the oil tankers illegally.

Later the Court ordered the Nazir of SHC to take custody of the five oil tankers from Custom officials.
