KARACHI: The Director Customs Valuation Wasif Memon has revised the customs values of adult/patient diapers vide Valuation Ruling No.935/2016.
The Directorate General had circulated the customs values for reference purpose. However still many references were being received at the Directorate General that there were issues in uniform applicability of the reference values.
Therefore, an exercise was initiated was determine the values of adult/patient diapers afresh.
The Customs values of adult/patient diapers under PCT 9619 of all origins are fixed at $3.25/kg.
The customs values of low end brands of adult/patient diapers under PCT 9619 of China origin are fixed at $2.05/kg, of Indonesia/Malaysia/UAE at $2.80/kg, of Turkey at $2.35/kg of Vietnam at $2.0/kg and other origins at $2.8/kg.
