KARACHI: A division bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Irfan Saddat Khan and Justice Arshad Hussain on Monday while adjourning hearing of a petition dismissed urgency application directing the petitioner to submit the registration book of the oil tanker.
The bench heard the counsel for petitioner Muhammad Sharif resident of Samundri, Muzaffarabad, Multan who maintained that his vehicle was intercepted and detained by the Custom authorities within the municipal limits of Hyderabad.
The bench on a previous hearing ordered the petitioner to submit the registration book of the vehicle with Nazir of SHC as security. The bench ordered that after deposition of registration book vehicle be given back to the petitioner.
Today when the urgency application was takken up bench pointed out that petitioner has not complied with the order of the court. The counsel appearing for the petitioner expressed ignorance about the order.
The bench dismissing the urgency application directed the counsel to first comply with the orders of the bench and deposit the registration book of the oil tanker with the Nazir of the court for taking possession of the vehicle.
