KARACHI: Member-(IRS-Inland Revenue Service FBR) Dr.Muhammad Irshad inaugurated “Health Scheme for IRS Officers/officials “in Karachi.
It is first initiative of its kind in govt public sector of Pakistan. The scheme has got medical cover in almost all major hospitals of country which include hospitalization,diagnosis, OPD and medicines. Aftetwards, this scheme will be extended to all cities of Pakistan.
The officers and officials of IRS-FBR are very happy over this scheme.
From BS-1 to BS-15 the ceiling of Rs100000 has been fixed along with RS1600 per day for room coverage and from BS- 16 to 22 ,ceiling of Rs0.5 million has been fixed along with Rs15,600 per day as room charges. More than 200 hospitals of country are covered. One day procedures and all tests also come under schemes which include MRI and others.
In 2nd phase, scheme will be announced in Lahore, Peshawer and Quetta.
This task was achieved by health management committee which negotiated deal with Jublee Health Insurance. The committee included Asim Iftikhar Commissioner-IRS, LTU Karachi, Dr. Najeeb Memon Commissioner LTU Karachi, Seema Shakeel- Chief Commissioner RTO-II Karachi, Nosheen Amjad- Chief Commissioner LTU-II Karachi, Lubna Furukh Mirza Chief Commissioner RTO-III Karachi and Hafiz Muhammad Ali Andher Chief Commissioner RTO-I Karachi.
This is an other mile stone achieved by Member-IRS Dr.Muhammad Irshad who has reinvigorated this department. Member-IRS also announced establishment of IRS-FBR in Karachi very soon.
The member IR also appreciated the efforts of newly established Cell for IRS-FBR Properties in Sindh.The cell members include Director Abdul Rehman Bullo and Deputy Director Asif Ali Abro.The cell has got deoccupied properties from illegal occupation of non-state actors.
