KARACHI: Criticising the ruling party Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) for its failure on fiscal side, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party dubbed the PML-N as “Nakam” (failed) League.
The government was unable to achieve the GDP target of 5.5 per cent as GDP increased by 4.7 per cent, Bilawal said in his tweet hours before the presentation of annual budget for the FY 2016-17.
The agricultural sector losess were due to a failed cotton crop rather a dismal performance by agricultural sector owing to misplaced sector priorities, analysts said adding that global climate change is also affecting the agricultural production in the country.
