KARACHI: A divisional bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Munib Akhtar and Justice Abdul Malik Gaddi on Friday adjourned hearing of a petition in respect of dumper trucks till April 01 after Counsel for Collector Customs Hyderabad stated that a contravention report has been prepared by the relevant authorities.
The bench earlier heard Ms Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate, counsel for Haji Ihsanullah who maintained that MCC Hyderabad is delaying the release of the dumper trucks causing hardship to the petitioner who owns a construction company.
Syed Mohsin Imam Rizvi representing the respondent submitted that he has been informed of the report and which fact he has stated before the court. He submitted that 33-dumper truck were imported in violation of import policy.
The court adjourning the matter until April 01, restrained the respondents from issuing any show cause or action against the petitioner until next date of hearing.
