KARACHI: A divisional bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Munib Akhtar and Justice Muhammad Sadiq Hussain Bhatti on Friday adjourned hearing of 4 identical petitions including two filed in 2013 and two in 2016 to March 23 and 11 respectively.
The bench earlier heard consul for petitioner who told the bench that more than a dozen dumper trucks are lying at the port and the custom authorities are not examining the dumper trucks imported by them.
The bench asked the counsel for Pakistan Customs and Deputy Collector , Law who sought an adjournment. The bench allowed the request asking them to seek instructions in a week time in CPs 1126 and 1162 of 2016 while hearing in CP 385 and 3293 of 2013 was put off till March 28/
The petitioners Haji Ihsan Ullah and Haji Abdul Razik Khan imported concrete mixer truck as they are suppliers and construction contractors. They have filed GD’s but the consignments has stuck up due to valuation issue and pre-shipment inspection certification.
