KARACHI: Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) will organise Pakistan International Trade Fair (PITF) in August, 2016 for which it has called meeting of Committee on February 17 to finalise arrangements of PITF as well as of other Pakistan solo exhibitions.

Abdul Rahim Janoo Chairman FPCCI Standing Committee on Fairs and Exhibitions and Trade Delegations said Pakistan International Trade Fair would be the first ever event of its kind in Pakistan which would make significant impact on our bilateral trade relations with the world.

He expressed his optimism FPCCI’s counterparts in different countries particularly from China, India, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Iran, Turkey, Nepal, Afghanistan, European and CIS countries would participate in this exhibition. Moreover, its regional pavilions like SAARC, ECO, OIC, ASEAN and D8 may also be organised in PITF. He said that this international exhibition would go a long way in projecting economic activities which would also become a source of attracting the foreign investment as well in Pakistan. Janoo said that PITF would be a regular event of FPCCI.

He informed FPCCI would also organise Pakistan pavilion in different international exhibitions in China, India, Tanzania, Uganda, Turkey, Vietnam and solo exhibitions in Nepal and Norway.
