KARACHI: Director Customs Intelligence Peshawar Asghar Khan has issued orders to raid the warehouses where the goods smuggled from Afghanistan are kept with the assistance of Police.
Deputy Director of Customs Intelligence Peshawar Khayal Mohammad and Superintendent of Police Kashif raided warehouses at warehouses at Lari Adda Bara Market, Peshawar.
As many as three warehouses were sealed and miscellaneous goods including cloth worth Rs50 million was seized.
It may be mentioned here that the goods smuggled from Afghanistan through illegal routes and kept at the warehouses at Lari Adda Bara Market, Peshawar and then it is distributed all over the country.
These goods are moved from Afghanistan on cycles, motorcycle rickshaws (chingchi) through routes, which come under the jurisdiction of FC and political administration.
