KARACHI: The Customs Enforcement South comprising collectorates of Preventive, Hyderabad, Exports, Exports, Exports (PQ), Quetta and Gwadar, has missed almost all the revenue collection targets for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2015.

According to details, the Customs duty collection in FY15 stood at Rs25.3 billion, which is 1.0 percent lower than the assigned target of Rs25.593 billion.

MCC Preventive affected CD collection of Rs18.686 billion surpassing the target by 9.0 percent, MCC Hyderabad contributed Rs2.601 billion, MCC Exports collected CD of Rs4.746 billion, MCC Quetta collected Rs1.402 billion and MCC Gwadar collected Rs1.654 billion.

The total sales tax collection by Customs Enforcement South in FY15 stood at Rs103.697 billion, which is 4.0 percent lower than the assigned target of Rs108.548 billion.

MCC Preventive affected ST collection of Rs80.007 billion missing the target by 6.0 percent, MCC Hyderabad contributed Rs6.595 billion, MCC Exports collected ST of Rs8.4 million, MCC Exports (PQ) collected Rs263.7 million, MCC Quetta collected Rs4.689 billion and MCC Gwadar collected ST Rs12.132 billion.

The total income tax collection by Enforcement South in fiscal year ended June 30, 2015 stood at Rs16.586 billion, which is 3.0 percent higher than the target of Rs16.040 billion.

MCC Preventive affected Income tax (Withholding tax) collection of Rs11.356 billion surpassing the target by 4.0 percent, MCC Hyderabad contributed Rs303.55 million, MCC Exports collected WHT of Rs3.78 million, MCC Exports (PQ) collected Rs142.65 million, MCC Quetta collected Rs792.37 million and MCC Gwadar collected WHT of Rs3.987 billion.

The total FED collection by Enforcement South in FY15 stood at Rs2.473 billion, which is 25 percent lower than the target of Rs3.261 billion.
