KARACHI: Federal Board of Revenue has terminated one Appraiser Mir Alam Khan (BPS-16), Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement (East) on account of ‘Inefficiency’ and ‘Misconduct’.
According to details, FBR had given task to Muhammad Nayyar Shafique, Additional Collector MCC Appraisement (West) for conducting an in-depth inquiry with respect to various acts of omission and commission committed by the accused officer.
The inquiry report submitted by the nominated officer proved the accused guilty of felony and misbehavior. Later, the accused officer dole out with a show cause notice whose reply in return failed to satisfy the competent authority.
Simultaneously, the Member (Admn) after considering all aspects of the case and recommendations of the competent authority has imposed the major penalty of ‘dismissal from service’.
