KARACHI: Collector MCC Appraisement East, Manzoor Memon has taken notice of information that certain orders and regulations were not being properly enforced.
The Collector had issued an order binding Deputy Collector and Assistant Collector to conduct second review hearings and solve issues pertaining to trade and clearing agents. He had directed that the DCs/ACs should conduct these hearings daily from 0900 to 1400 hours.
It was known that Manzoor Memon conducted an inspection round in the collectorate and expressed his dismay over compromising attitude of officers.
He advised the officers that no leniency would be tolerated and memos could be issued to the officers in this regard.
The clearing agents have appreciated this move and said that this would help trade and save time. Talking to Customnews.pk, clearing agents said that a lot of their time was being wasted for the solution of their petty issues.
