KARACHI: The Cabinet Secretariat, Establishment Division has announced the nominations for 17th Senior Management Course (SMC) of BPS-19 Officers at National Management College.

It is known that a transfer/posting of Grade-17 to Grade-19 officers of Pakistan Customs Service (PCS) is on the cards and it is reported that several transfer orders notified recently could be suspended on the recommendations of head of collectorates/directorates.

It has been reliably learnt that transfer orders of Additional Director Internal Audit Omar Shafique would be suspended as he is currently pursuing several cases of sensitive nature. Omar Shafique has recently been transferred to MCC Hyderabad.

According to the details, the enumerated below BPS-19 officers of Inland Revenue Services (IRS) and Pakistan Customs Services (PCS) out of 83 from different departments of Federal Government have been nominated for the Senior Management Course (SMC) being held at National Management College, Lahore are required to report to the institute on 20th February 2015 along with Annual Medical Examination Reports.

If the officer is nominated for the mandatory training and he / she declines to proceed on training for two consecutive training courses, then he / she would forfeit the right to consideration for promotions in future.
