KARACHI: Haroon Muhammad Khan Tareen, Inland Revenue officer of BS-21, has been posted as Director General, Directorate General of Intelligence and Investigation (Inland Revenue) Islamabad.
The posting was notified through a notification issued by Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) issued on Tuesday. Tareen will replace Syed Ijaz Hussain, BS-21, who has been made Member (Taxpayers Audit). Tareen, meanwhile, will continue to hold the charge of Project Director, FBR (HQ) assigned vide notification No. 1600-IR-I/2013 dated July 09, 2013 till further order.
Asif Rasool, BS-19, has been made Commissioner (OPS) Inland Revenue (Appeals) Multan. He will replace Khalil Ahmed Zahid, who will assume the charge of Commissioner Inland Revenue (Special Zone) Regional Tax Office, Multan.
