PCS officers nominated for 18th Mid Career Management Course at NIMs

KARACHI: Establishment Division has issued a list of nominated officers of Pakistan Customs Service (PCS) for 18th Mid Career Management Course (MCMC) at National Institute of Management (NIM), Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) issued a notification on Friday. The following PCS officers are included: NIM, Karachi: Muhammad Arshad Khan, Deputy Collector, Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement (East), Karachi Naveed Iqbal, Deputy Collector, Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement (West), Karachi Nawabzadi Aliya Dilawar Khanji, Deputy Collector, Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement (West), Karachi Javed Sarwar Sheikh, Deputy Director, Directorate of Post Clearance Audit, Karachi Muhammad Mumtaz Ali Raza Chaudhry, Deputy Director, Directorate General of Transit Trade, Karachi NIM, Lahore: Yasin Murtaza, Secretary, Federal Board of Revenue (Hq), Islamabad Muteen Alam, Deputy Collector, Model Customs Collectorate, Multan Muhammad Arshad Hayat Chaudary, Second Secretary, Federal Board of Revenue (Hq), Islamabad Syed Jawad Ali Shah, Deputy Collector, Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement, Lahore NIM, Peshawar: Muhammad Saeed Asad, Deputy Collector, Collectorate of Customs (Adjudication), Faisalabad Farid Ahmed Khan Salarzay, Deputy Collector, Model Customs Collectorate, Peshawar Khial Muhammad, Deputy Collector, Model Customs Collectorate, Peshawar Abdul Haye Sheikh, Second Secretary, Federal Board of Revenue (Hq), Islamabad NIM, Quetta: Amer Rashid, Deputy Director, Directorate General of Training and Research (Customs), Karachi The nominated officers are required to report to their respective NIMs at Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, and Quetta on August 16, 2014. According to revised promotion policy, “If the officer is nominated for the mandatory training and he/she declines to proceed on training for two consecutive training courses, then he/she would forfeit the right to consideration for promotion.” The FBR said that in case of any withdrawal of nomination either by the department by the officer himself/herself, the officer concerned will be responsible, if it adversely effects his/her promotion prospects.
