KARACHI: The MCC Appraisement –West has issued assessment guidelines on assessment of hot melt adhesive under PCT 3506.9190.
According to a circular, the guideline issued on April 25, 2014 has been withdrawn and guidelines issued on December 28, 2013 are now applicable.
According to April 25 guidelines, the Customs values of hot melt adhesive had been determined at $1.60/KG.
While the assessment guideline issued on December 28, 2013, it was notified that imports of hot melt adhesive from China including Far Eastern origins should not be assessed on values less than $3.0/KG. Imports from Europe/USA should be assessed at between $4.0 to $7.0/KG.
