KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Thursday announced that authorized bank branches will remain open on Saturday March 29 and for extended hours on Monday March 31 for collection of duty and taxes.
In an office order, the FBR said that authorized branches of State Bank of Pakistan, National Bank of Pakistan and National Institute of Facilitation Technologies (NIFT) will remain open on Saturday March 29 till 5:00PM and on Monday March 31 till 10PM for collection of duties and taxes.
All the model customs collectorates have been directed to remain open to facilitate the trade and ensure the duties/taxes are deposited in the banks as per the timings.
