KARACHI: The Directorate General of Customs Valuation has determined Customs values of gas hobs, stoves and parts through Valuation Ruling no.618/2013.
According to the Ruling, gas hob (01 burner) all brands and origin from Italy, UK, France, Germany, USA and Spain would be valued at $20 per unit; gas hob (02 burners) all brands and origin from Italy, UK, France, Germany, USA and Spain would be valued at $25 per unit; gas hob (03 burners) all brands and origin from Italy, UK, France, Germany, USA and Spain would be valued at $30 per unit; gas hob (04 burner) all brands and origin from Italy, UK, France, Germany, USA and Spain would be valued at $40 per unit; gas hob (05 burners) all brands and origin from Italy, UK, France, Germany, USA and Spain would be valued at $45 per unit; gas hob (06 burners) all brands and origin from Italy, UK, France, Germany, USA and Spain would be valued at $50 per unit.
The Customs values of Gas Hob (01 burner) of brands namely futile, Robam, Medas, Arda, Tekka and Technoline of China origin, are determined at $16 per unit; The Customs values of Gas Hob (02 burner) of brands namely futile, Robam, Medas, Arda, Tekka and Technoline of China origin, are determined at $22 per unit; The Customs values of Gas Hob (03 burners) of brands namely futile, Robam, Medas, Arda, Tekka and Technoline of China origin, are determined at $28 per unit; The Customs values of Gas Hob (04 burner) of brands namely futile, Robam, Medas, Arda, Tekka and Technoline of China origin, are determined at $36 per unit; The Customs values of Gas Hob (05 burners) of brands namely futile, Robam, Medas, Arda, Tekka and Technoline of China origin, are determined at $42 per unit; The Customs values of Gas Hob (06 burner) of brands namely futile, Robam, Medas, Arda, Tekka and Technoline of China origin, are determined at $48 per unit.
Gas Hob (01 burner) of other Chinese brands would be assessed to duty/tax at $8 per unit; Gas Hob (02 burners) of other Chinese brands would be assessed to duty/tax at $12 per unit; Gas Hob (03 burners) of other Chinese brands would be assessed to duty/tax at $16 per unit; Gas Hob (04 burners) of other Chinese brands would be assessed to duty/tax at $20 per unit; Gas Hob (05 burners) of other Chinese brands would be assessed to duty/tax at $24 per unit; Gas Hob (06 burners) of other Chinese brands would be assessed to duty/tax at $28 per unit.
The Customs values of Gas Stove (01 burner) of all Chinese brands are $4 per unit; the Customs values of Gas Stove (02 burners) of all Chinese brands are $7.5 per unit; the Customs values of Gas Stove (03 burners) of all Chinese brands are $9 per unit.
Gas Hob parts of Italy, UK, France, Germany, US and Spain would be assessed to duty/tax at $2.5 per KG; Chinese Gas Hob parts at $2.25 per KG while gas stove parts of Chinese origin would be assessed to duty/tax at $1.30 per KG.
Gas Hobs and Stoves specified above if imported in SKD/CKD condition shall be assessed on 90 percent of customs values determined in this ruling.
For the purpose of this Ruling, a Gas Hob has knobs on top with concealed bottom and a Gas Stove has knobs on front with open bottom.
