KARACHI: The Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) PaCCS has advised the exporters having their customs rebate claims pending, to submit their bank account details at the office of Collector Customs PACCs for issuance of cheques against their claims.

This directive came at the office of Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO), Dr. Muhammad Shoaib Suddle during a meeting with a delegation of exporters.

Amir Ahmed, Collector Model Collectorate of Customs (PaCCS) and Wasif Ali Memon, Collector Model Collectorate of Customs (Exports) were also present on the occasion.

During the meeting Collector Customs PaCCS informed that a list of 1401 exporters against around 4000 claims of pending customs rebate was ready for payment and the list was also on the FBR website.

Amir Ahmed said that as bank details such as name of bank, branch and account number etc. were not available, the payments could not be issued.

Therefore exporters are directed to visit the FBR website and after confirmation of their names in this list of 1401 exporters, they could approach Collector Customs PaCCS Office with their bank account details for issue of cheques against their claims.
