KARACHI: The Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Appraisement has notified provisional regularization of 16 contract employees appointed under the Family Assistance Package in 2009.
These employees include three Examiners of Grade-14 who by the virtue of Supreme Court’s earlier order upgrading all Grade-14 employees to Grade-16, would automatically be upgraded to Grade-16, an official said.
Names of these employees were included in the minutes of Cabinet sub-committee forwarded by the Establishment Division.
It may be mentioned here that this regularization is provisional without prejudice to the orders of the Honourable Supreme Court of Pakistan on the CPLA filed by FBR against the order of the Islamabad High Court. Therefore, this regularization would be effective from the date of issuance of Board’s direction and not from the date of initial contract appointment.
These include S.M Fawad, Nazia and s. Farhan Mehdi (Examiner Grade-14); Mohsin Shahid Chandio, Mohammad Ali Khan, Prince Saleemuddin, Jawad Khan and Mohammad Irshad (UDC Grade-9); Faiza ali, Arsalan Ahmed, Asif Shah, Fawad Saad, Khawaja Mansoor-ul-Hassan, Kamran Mahmood, Anwar Ali and Mohammad Tariq (Sepoy Grade-4).
