KARACHI: Director Customs Valuation Karachi Iqbal Muneeb has determined the customs values of iron and steel/stainless steel kitchenware/utensils vide Valuation Ruling No.1302/2018.
It was brought to the notice of Directorate General of Customs Valuation that values of kitchenware of iron and steel/stainless steel are being declared to Customs at much lower values than current international values. Verification reaffirmed this stance, therefore an exercise was initiated to determine the customs values of the goods.
The customs values of iron and steel kitchenware/utensils (magnetic) of low end brands under PCT 7323.9100 and 7323.9200 of China re fixed at $2.6/kg.
The customs values of iron and steel kitchenware/utensils (non-magnetic) of low end brands under PCT 7323.9300 of China re fixed at $3.75/kg.
