KARACHI: D.G Khan Police has taken custody of two ten-wheeler trucks reportedly loaded with smuggled goods coming from Afghanistan, while no case has been registered as yet.
An official informed that D.G Khan Police had taken custody of two trucks, which were brought to Police Station Saddar. The officials of Customs Intelligence & Investigation also reached the police station.
Sources said the trucks belonged to a notorious smuggler and Customs Intelligence & Investigation was allegedly protecting the culprits. Sources maintained that a deal was being negotiated for releasing the trucks and covering up the matter.
An official said the trucks should be taken to NAB Multan for a thorough investigation.
